Zones and tags

Group locations and audio zones, then target them with tags and local overrides. A café and a sales floor can share a location without sharing a schedule. The self-hosted core is one account with many locations. Zonecast Cloud runs separate accounts.

Schedules

Build Monday–Sunday music schedules and assign one to each zone. Slots follow the location’s local time. Transitions can be exact or wait until the current track ends. Overlapping slots are rejected.

Smart playlists

A playlist can be a sequence you pick, or a smart playlist selected by tags. Playlists can draw from more than one catalog.

Volume calendars

Set weekly output volume, with separate gains for music, campaigns, and announcements. Account defaults apply until a zone overrides part of the week.

Catalogs

Owned catalogs and read-only subscribed catalogs are available. Importing a provider catalog, and moving a catalog between accounts, are coming soon. No licensed music catalog is bundled.
